REVIEW:

AUTHOR SIGNED COPY. FREE OF COST . AWESOME THRILLER
What more can anyone possibly ask. I woke up to a not so happy Monday only to be greeted two hours later by the lovely courier man and got this book.

I really liked the book and how could i even miss it ,DUH.. James Patterson was the subject featured in Times Magazine as ' The Man Cant Miss' so come on how could i skip this out. More Than 220 million copies of his books are sold out worldwide. It's just amazing. So i was really excited to read the story this combo authors came up with.

Coming back to the book, there is a mysterious person a killer on a murder junket
Private India is a detective agency consisting of:
1. Head officer- Santosh Wagh
2. Investigator- Nisha Gandhe
3.Medical Examiner: Mubeen
4. Engineer- Hari
5. Head- Jack Morgan

All of these characters were sketched so well and they had their own lives and issues going on throughout the book.

Santosh was the one i pictured as ACP Pradyuman from CID except a lot younger. He was very intelligent and his knowledge about everything blew me away. He seemed to be a person with lot of humanity and respect and his caring nature and that tough attitude was great to read about.

Nisha was brave and chivalrous and mubeen and hari were great personalities too.
Jack was the one who binded them all, he was like the father figure and the binding agent .
Rupesh is another character he is a policeman - well Friend or Frenemy * SPOILER ALERT*

They together are the ones who dig out for the killer who is killing and strangely he is killing only WOMEN with yellow scarfs and later we find out that they have some ancient connections with  Goddess Durga and her many avatars.

Ashwin Sanghi brings his mythological Midas touch here and takes this mystery book into a whole new level.

At first it can get a bit too over whelming reading about so many  mythological stuffs but once you get the grasp of it you'll fly through it.
Other instances which i really like are when Santosh is referred to as Chulbul Pandey it was cool.

So the murder plot, the characters and the whole mythological kick were the positive aspects for me.

Negatives i would say are that by the time you reach halfway through the book there are so many characters who are introduced that it becomes confusing to remember them and also some characters could be omitted to make it more simplified , other than that it was an awesome read.

Murder with Mythological elements and references wooo....its a treat so what are you waiting for go get the book and Durga Puja is approaching so go grab it.
